Extremely popular in the western US, the Hardscrabble features rugged 2.8 mm full grain leather uppers with a 1-piece vamp design and seamless tongue for superior waterproof protection and abrasion resistance. These durable uppers also feature Kenetrek’s flex-notch design and heavily-padded collars for superior comfort and support. Heavy-duty, full-length, 7 mm nylon midsoles provide superior support and stability over uneven terrain, while the reinforced rubber sole guards around the bottom of the upper give extra protection against rock abrasion. Waterproof/breathable Windtex membrane technology inside the boot keeps feet dry and comfortable. Exclusive, high traction K-Talon outsoles feature an aggressive and toothy multi-directional lug design with deep relief and an open tread pattern for good footing in the snow, mud, or dry ground. Traction teeth at the toe and heel provide extra grip going up and down slopes.
